Cyanotype on paper
Blueprint, photochemical blueprint or cyanotype is an alternative photographic technique from the mid-19th century. Deep Prussian Blue, so typical for cyanotype, also finds its application in art today.
In the workshop you will learn the whole process of creating photographs or photograms using this extraordinary technique.
- preparation of paper
- composition of motifs
- exposure under UV light
- stabilization
We will also briefly introduce you to the history and theory of cyanotype.
The workshop will last 2-3 hours and at the end you will take your own photo or collage.
All the necessary material will be ready for you, so all you have to do is come to our studio in Prague - Vršovice.
The price of the workshop is 1650 CZK.
